I occasionally get requests to various freelance work that doesn't align with my interests or that t don't have time enough to taken on. I'd love to be able to refer such people somewhere else rather than just saying, "Sorry, can't help you… good luck!" At a minimum, it's a nice courtesy given in reply to their leap of faith in contacting me in the first place, and beyond that it might be good for a future interaction.
How do others on the list handle this sort of situation? Are there *trustworthy* websites / registries / forums where freelancers advertise their skills and availability? For example, I received a request to work on an app that would require medically-oriented image processing, an area that isn't currently a strength for me - any suggestions how best to redirect this potential-client-for-someone?
