What you describe is a good "practice app" or "first project" for someone just learning iOS.
(Obviously, if this is just one small part of a larger project, you might consider an experience developer but, if you're just prototyping this bit, it's a good practice app.)
I would say that your best bet would be to find someone who just recently learned iOS -- perhaps a student or similar -- who is looking to write a few "1-day-apps" to get the experience and referrals.
NOTE: If you're planning to ship a product, there is no such thing as a "1-day-app." Again, I'm talking about only as much as you describe here, with no fluff or anything else to make it shipping software. If you don't understand what I mean by the difference, please learn that before engaging a developer or trying to ship an app.
